Supertuf PLUS
Supertuf PLUS is the ultimate mooring rope for demanding applications. It is a stronger version of Supertuf NXT, with enhanced abrasion resistance and breaking strength. Supertuf PLUS is made of high-performance polypropylene fibers that are specially treated to withstand harsh marine environments. Supertuf PLUS is ideal for mooring large vessels and floating structures. It offers good shock absorption, low elongation, and high UV stability. Supertuf PLUS is available in various diameters and lengths, with customized splicing and eye protection.
Basic characteristics:
- Fibre material: Polyolefin fibres
- Specific gravity: 0,92 (floats in sea water)
- Elongation at brake: 16% +/- 2%
- UV stabilized
- Marine finish
- Available: 8 and 12 strand construction
- Single construction: Polyolefin yarns
